What is a Champions League prediction league?
A Champions League prediction league — also called a predictor game or prediction pool — is a season-long game where every member predicts the score of each match before kickoff and earns points for how close they get. Whoever accumulates the most from the league phase to the final wins.
It is not betting: no money is staked, there are no odds and there is no payout. The prize is the leaderboard among people you actually know — which is why offices, classrooms and family WhatsApp groups run one every year.
The Champions League happens to be the best-shaped competition for it. Midweek matches keep the table moving between domestic weekends, and because the knockout rounds are worth several times a league-phase night, nobody is mathematically finished in February.

Can I join late or skip a matchday?
Yes. You can join at any point and start predicting from the next fixture. Missed matches score zero, so late joiners start behind — but because knockout rounds are worth several times a league-phase match, a good run in the spring can still overturn the table.
What happens if a match is postponed?
The fixture list updates automatically. If a match moves, its deadline moves with it and predictions lock at the new kickoff time. Nothing has to be re-entered and no points are lost.
