How to delete your BeTeam account

You can delete your BeTeam account at any time. This page explains the two ways to request deletion and what happens to your data.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open the BeTeam app and sign in.
Tap the menu icon (top-left) → Settings.
Tap Account.
Tap Delete Account at the bottom.
Confirm. Your account is immediately marked for deletion.

Option 2 — Email request

Send an email to beteam555@gmail.com from the address registered on your BeTeam account, with the subject "Delete my BeTeam account." We'll process the deletion within 7 business days and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

The following data is permanently removed when your account is purged:

Your email address, display name, and profile details
Your push notification tokens
Your predictions, comments, reactions, and chat messages
Your chip balance and transaction history
BeTeams you own (members are notified and the BeTeam is closed)

What may be retained

For legal, security, or accounting reasons, the following may be retained for up to 90 days after purge:

Anonymized server logs (no personal identifiers)
Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics
Records required by tax or accounting law (none for free users)

Recovery window

When you tap "Delete Account" your account is immediately suspended and inaccessible. For 14 days the deletion is reversible — email beteam555@gmail.com if you change your mind. After 14 days your data is anonymized and removed permanently.
