A prediction league is the cheapest kind of loyalty scheme: it costs nothing to run, it needs no card and no sign-up with the venue, and it gives a customer a private reason to care about a match they were going to watch anyway. Unlike a quiz night, it doesn't occupy an evening, need a host, or compete with the football — it runs alongside the fixtures you already show.

How it works
- Tell us your venue and competition. Your bar's name, your city, and the competition your crowd follows — the Champions League, the Premier League, your domestic league, or any of 75+ competitions.
- We set it up and send your sign. We create the league under your bar's name, import the fixtures, and send you a printable sign carrying your own QR code, plus the link for your leaderboard screen.
- Customers scan and join. A customer points their phone camera at the sign, installs the free app, and lands directly in your league. Entry is free — no payment details, no membership, no account with the bar.
- Predict, watch the table, crown a winner. Predictions lock at kickoff and scoring runs itself from live results. The leaderboard moves on your screen during the match; you announce the weekly winner at half-time.

That split is the point. A bartender is not going to administer a league, so nothing about the format asks them to. There is no venue dashboard to learn, no fixtures to enter, and no results to settle — if the bar does nothing at all in a given week, the league still runs correctly.
Frequently asked questions
Is a prediction league for a bar considered gambling?
Not on BeTeam. Entry is free and nobody wagers money in the app — players earn points for accurate predictions. There are no deposits, no odds and no cash payouts. If you want to reward your weekly winner, you do it as your own promotion, outside the app, exactly as you would with a free prize draw. Local rules on promotions still apply, so check them for your country.
What does it cost the venue?
Nothing. No fee, no contract, and no software for you to run. The only optional cost is the prize you choose to give your weekly winner — usually a single drink.
Do I need a screen to run it?
No. The league works with nothing but the printed sign. A screen makes it considerably better: the leaderboard page runs in any browser, so a spare TV or a tablet on the bar shows customers their name climbing the table while the match is on.
Do customers have to download an app?
Yes. Scanning the sign leads to the free BeTeam app on iOS or Android, and the customer lands straight in your league after installing. There is no account with the venue, no payment details and no loyalty card.
Which competitions can a bar league follow?
Any of 75+ competitions — the Champions League, the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and major national leagues, plus basketball such as the NBA and EuroLeague. Most venues pick the competition their regulars already come in to watch. Browse the full list of competitions.
How many customers can join one bar league?
A single league holds up to 200 players. Busy venues are split across linked leagues so everyone keeps a table they can realistically win.
Who runs the league week to week?
We do. Fixtures import automatically, predictions lock at kickoff, and scoring updates from live results without anyone entering anything. Your only recurring job is announcing the winner and rolling the league into the next round, which we prepare and prompt you for.
