What is a Bundesliga prediction league?
A Bundesliga prediction league — in Germany a Tippspiel or Tipprunde — is a season-long game where every member predicts the score of each match before kickoff and earns points for how close they get. Whoever accumulates the most points across the season wins.
It is not Sportwetten: no money is staked, there are no odds and there is no payout. The prize is the table among people you actually know — which is exactly why offices, Vereine and family WhatsApp groups run one every year.

Points that everyone agrees are fair
BeTeam's default system rewards precision without letting one lucky guess decide the season. The organizer can change the weights before the league starts.

This is what keeps a 34-Spieltag season open to the end: the organizer picks which multipliers to use, and they compound — a Topspiel inside a doubled Spieltag is worth ×4.
Relative scoring earns its keep in a league where the whole group ticks the same favourite every week: call the upset nobody else saw and it is worth double. Is a Bundesliga Tippspiel gambling?
No. There is no money staked, no odds, and no payouts — members compete for points and the table only. It is a social game, not Sportwetten, which is why offices, schools and Vereine use it.
Is the BeTeam app available in German?
Not yet. The interface is in English, Hebrew, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Arabic. In practice predicting is numbers and club names, so it is rarely an obstacle, and there is a German-language guide. A German interface depends on how many German players ask for it.
How many people can join one Tipprunde?
There is no practical limit. BeTeam leagues run from a three-person family group up to office pools with hundreds of members, and the table works the same at any size. Everyone joins through the same invite link.
Can I join late or miss a Spieltag?
Yes. You can join at any point in the season and start predicting from the next fixture. Missed matches simply score zero, so late joiners start behind but can still climb. Organizers often start a fresh Rückrunde mini-league after the Winterpause.
Can I run other competitions in the same group?
Yes. The same group can also run the Champions League, the DFB-Pokal, the Premier League, or any of the 75+ competitions BeTeam covers across football, basketball, American football, ice hockey, baseball and tennis — each with its own table.
